NFL SEASON WIN TOTALS FOR 2014!

By Mark Franco

When looking at season win totals each year I tend to offer more under than over selections. So far I have two selections with a short explanation as to what I see playing out for the NFL 2014 Season.

New Orleans Saints – The Saints have a win total of 9 ½ in most books here in Vegas and I like their chances of eclipsing that number. They should be as good if not better in 2014 and have just 3 teams with winning records from last season on their schedule. Carolina, who they play twice, San Francisco and Cincinnati. The Saints win at least 10 games in 2014.

Denver Broncos – Denver’s win total is set at 11 ½ at most betting shops and as I eluded to in a earlier question the Broncos will be hard pressed to get 12 wins with this year’s schedule and we all know the Super Bowl loser always has a hangover the following season. With an ageing team and the possibility for injuries to major players (i.e. Peyton Manning) I like under 11 ½ for the AFC Champions in 2014.

6-2 in Season Win Totals in 2012 and 2013!
